Finally made a decision on when to launch Fix, my debut novel.
Writing my novel, Fix, has been a long and arduous process. It's taken years and I've suffered from doubt throughout the process. I had the novel edited by Lindsy Ryan, the brilliant writer and editor from "Under Her Skin." From her advice, I did a major overhaul, but the novel still felt a little heavy in the front end so I submitted it to Reedsy as well.
Here's where we stand.
My Reedsy editor had this to say about the novel.

"I loved your book. Talk about an immersive experience, getting lost in worlds within worlds. What. A. Ride."
Yes, there is a little bit of revision happening this weekend and then, next week, we'll be off to the proofreader.
Cover is Coming In October!
I've hired B. Rose Designs to design my cover, and it will be completed in October. I can't wait to share it with you.

Release Day is December 1st.
I picked December since both my mom, now deceased, and my son both have birthdays that month. I'll be doing giveaways so I'll keep you posted.
Next Flint Event
The next event in Flint I'll be attending is the Mary WollstoneCRAFT event which is celebrating women writers and artists. I'll be in September at the 432 Local. I'll keep you posted on that too!
